"SOME" and "ANY"
Some and any are used when the speaker cannot specify or does not want to specify a number or an exact amount.
In general, some is used in positive sentences. We use some for both countable and uncountable nouns.
Example: I need some milk.
In general, any is used in negative sentences and questions. We use any for both countable and uncountable nouns.
Example: Have you got any chocolates?
