Measurement Videos for Fourth Grade
In the 4th grade, measurement reaches new heights as the students learn weights, volume, time, money, converting units, and fractions. All of these skills are built upon what the children have learned in the first, second, and third grades. A good review, with online measurement videos, will provide the student a refresher course, while making them more prepared to learn new skills. A wide range of procedures and tools will be used throughout the school year to teach 4th grade measurement skills. A few areas the students will review are the concepts they learned in the 3rd grade, like perimeter, area, volume, and length. Furthermore, new concepts that a student will learn in 4th grade include simple angles such as 45 degrees, 90 degrees, and 180 degrees.
Another skill 4th grade measurement includes is converting units within the metric system. If the child does not have a solid foundation and understanding of the metric system, it is a good time to build it with online videos. The student will be able to go over the basic skills, review and practice them, and see them in action. This will ensure the student is ready for school, and is prepared to learn new concepts. If the child already has a good understanding of the concepts, it never hurts to provide an overview of what they will learn in the 4th grade to ensure they are well prepared.
