Words Meaning Example
Summer The warmest season of the year, occurring between spring and autumn. We love to go swimming in the lake during the summer.
Sunshine Direct sunlight or the state of being in the sun's rays. The beach was bathed in sunshine all day.
Beach A sandy or pebbly shore, typically by the sea or a lake. We're planning a vacation at the beach this summer.
Swimming The activity of moving through water using one's body, often for recreation. We enjoy swimming in the ocean when it's hot outside.
