Using a Reflexive Pronoun to Complete a Sentence

Reflexive pronouns are the pronouns that end in -self or -selves.

 

Subject (singular)	I	you	he	she	it
Reflexive pronoun	myself	yourself	himself	herself	itself

Subject (plural)	we	you	they
Reflexive pronoun	ourselves	yourselves	themselves

Reflexive pronouns refer back to the subject of a sentence. They are used when an object is the same as the subject. Hence, they should match with the subject.

For example:
 

You are our guests and don’t have to make yourselves breakfast.

The subject of the sentence is you, and the inclusion of the word guests indicates the word is plural. So, we can use “you” in place of guests. The reflexive pronoun for the subject you (plural) is yourselves.
