LESSON 1 - DINOSAURS

Child: Mom, today in class we learned about dinosaurs. I find them very fascinating and want to know more about them.
Mother: Sure. Come and have a look at this.
Child: Wow! Dinosaur games!
Mother:Yes dear, you can play and learn more about dinosaurs.
Mother: Long before there were any people, dinosaurs lived on the earth. Dinosaurs were reptiles. They were hatched from eggs and had scales on their bodies. Dinosaurs were of many different types. Dinosaurs existed millions of years ago in the Mesozoic Era. The Mesozoic Era had three periods: Triassic Period, Jurassic Period and Cretaceous Period. Dinosaurs evolved in the Triassic period and went extinct by the end of the Cretaceous period.
It was only many, many years later, that we, humans, evolved in the Cenozoic era. Now let's learn more about the dinosaurs which existed in the different periods of the Mesozoic Era. This is how earth looked in the Mesozoic Era. Click on the dinosaur you want to explore.

LESSON 2 - ANCHIORNIS

Anchiornis was one of the smallest dinosaurs in the late Jurassic period. It was only a foot long and weighed a few ounces. It had feathers on its front and back limbs. Anchiornis probably fed on insects. It's fossils have been found in present-day China.

LESSON 3 - APATOSAURUS

Apatosaurus was another one of largest plant eating dinosaurs in the late Jurassic period. It was about 70-90 feet in length and it weighed around 40 tonnes. Apatosaurus fossils have been found in North America.

LESSON 4 - ARGENTINOSAURUS

Argentinosaurus was probably one of the largest dinosaurs. It was 130-140 feet in length and it weighed about a 100 tonnes. It had a long neck, a long tail and a relatively small head. LESSON 6 - PAMPADROMAEUS

Pampadromaeus existed in the Triassic period in present-day Brazil, South America. It was about 5 feet long. It fed on meat as well as on plants. It had a narrow snout and long hind legs. It also had two types of teeth: leaf shaped and curved, which made it easy for it to chew.
